Hey everyone! Here is the lesson information and prayer requests from this past Sunday.

This week, we read and discussed James 5:1-6.

Next week (Sunday, August 29th), is the fifth Sunday of the month, so we will take up our benevolence offering. We will also have a sharing time. If you would like to, there will be time designated to share how God is working in your life.

Prayer requests:

--Beginning of the school year for teachers and students (busy time of year; all of CCH's back to school activities; Brandy starts school this week; Rich, Adam Beck, and Becky start classes this week)

--Adam Beck (busy at work and school)

--Andy's mom (treatment and recovery)

--Our church in this time of transition and our Sunday School class

--Andy's mom's health (treatment and recovery)

--Becky's job situation (staying at Subway, co-worker she's witnessing to)

--Sarah Sturgis (unexpected extended stay--that her health would improve and she would be able to minister while she's here in the U.S.)
